Open source furniture.
I designed and made an open source desk eight years ago. After living and working with it since then, a few things about it have bothered me.
Firstly could I optimising the design so that it could be CNC cut from a single sheet of coated birch ply using a single router head, making it much more cost effective.
Secondly push the design so you get the maximum sized desk based on a single sheet of birch plywood.
Lastly improve the design so once slotted together it felt tighter as a unit.
Anyway here is the new nell desk, I will be publishing the open source cutting files on github soon. Music credit goes to my daughter Nell who has just passed her Grade 1 guitar with distinction, too good not to use.
